Q: What is the registration fee?
A: Registration fee is required for registration & secures your spot for the week of camp. It is also applied to the final balance. Q: When is final balance due? A: Remaining balance is to be paid before camp begins or upon arrival. Q: What time is arrival for camp? A: Check-in for Kids and Day Camps begin on Mondays from 1:00-2:30 pm. Check-in for Teen Camps is on Mondays from 3:30-5:00 pm. Q: Can we register the day of camp? A: Last minute reservations & walk-ins are permitted but a spot is not guaranteed. Q: When do activities begin? A: Camper activities begin on Mondays @ 3:00 pm. Q: When does camp end? A: All camps are dismissed Fridays @ noon, 12:00 PM. Q: Is there a lifeguard in the swimming pool? A: Lifeguards on duty at all swim times. Q: How deep is the swimming pool? A: Swimming pool depth starts @ 2 ft. Deepest point is 5 ft. Q: Do girls and boys sleep in separate cabins? A: Girls and boys sleep in separate cabins on separate sides of campus with their counselor. |
Q: Are the campers ever alone?
A: Campers are accompanied by their counselors at all times. Q: Where do campers sleep? A: Campers stay in cabins and sleep in bunk beds every night. Q: What do campers do? A: Campers are on a set schedule that promotes responsibility & fun (see sample schedule) Q: Is campground a closed campus? A: Campground is gated & safe. All visitors must check-in. There are security checks during our night time hours. Q: Is money needed for week of camp? A: We recommend bringing around 30-50 dollars to spend at our Lifehill Store and the Camp Grounds Coffee Shop. Merchandise ranges from around 5-25 dollars and our snacks range from 3-5 dollars. Q: How does the camp function? A: CLDV is certified by the state of Texas & is inspected annually. Q: Is the camp staff certified? A: All staff receives over 100 hours of training & certification in various specialties & All camp staff & personnel go through various background checks |
