Kids camp is a week of unforgettable fun times with lasting memories. Every camper gets to join a cabin of 10-12 campers where they will build lifelong friendships with their cabin mates and especially their counselor who is their "parent" away from home. Their counselor is with them at all times from meals to games to chapel to pool time and everywhere in between. Every year campers rave about the time with their cabin mates and their awesome counselor. They also join with other cabins to form one of our two teams every summer. Everyday campers earn points whether through fun games, activities, cleaning their cabins or learning Bible verses. All to be able to be called the Camp Champ at the end of the week. Days are filled with fun games, swimming, sports, the Fun Zone, God and I Time, chapels, Camp Grounds Coffee House, the Lifehill Store and much, much more. Everyday CLDV strives to see Character training in an Active environment that Motivates relationships towards Purposeful living and all for God's Kingdom!

Your camper is going to have a blast at camp! There are so many fun things for your camper to do, so there is no need for your camper to bring electronic devices or sports equipment. These items should remain at home. Another great idea while packing is to ask yourself, “Would my child be allowed to bring this to school?” If the answer is no, then it’s probably not suitable for camp either. At the beginning of the week, we will ask the campers if they have packed any of these items. If they have, we will gather the items and store them in a safe place during the week. The items will be returned to them at the end of the week.
what to bring
Twin size sheets or sleeping bag
Toiletries (soap, shampoo, teeth care, deodorant, etc.)
Spandex or yoga pants (acceptable to wear under shorts)**
*EXTRA MONEY The Lifehill Store sells everything from candy, snacks, chips, and drinks that range from $.50 - $2.00 as well as T-shirts, water bottles and souvenirs that range from $2.00 - $15.00. Our Camp Grounds Coffee Shop sells Fruit Smoothies, Shakes, Flavored coffee and pastries that range from $2.00 - $4.00.
**DRESS CODE Our goal in developing a dress standard is to be both modest and practical. However, dress standards can often be a source of tension, especially among girl campers. In today’s society, the “less is more” mentality is displayed through low cut jeans and shorts, tight or revealing tops and short shorts. Please understand that Camp Loma de Vida is committed to protecting the innocence of your child while they are in our care. With this in mind, we will ask campers who are inappropriately dressed (wearing articles of clothing not consistent with CLDV dress standards) to change. We appreciate your sensitivity to this subject matter, as it is our goal to create an impactful, unforgettable camp environment that is free from distractions.
